Hi!
It wasn't question to me, but I'll try to answer a bit.

At first, Oeffag built Albatros D.III was powered by a Austro-Daimler engine, it was nothing like Oeffag engine. Austro-Daimler engines were designed (or at least modified) by famous Ferdinand Porsche.
At first with a power of the 185 hp, later with 200hp and finally 225hp versions, Austro-Daimler engines were more powerfull than German Mercedes engines.
Another thing is, that 200hp and 225hp Daimlers came much later than 185hp engine. 225hp powered Oeffag Albatros was used since May 1918, and Germans had their much better Fokkers D.VII since April, so earlier.
I don't know much more about it.
Cheers!
G.
