Major Victor Parks Jr. 166th Aero Squadron
 

Major Victor Parks Jr., 166th Aero Squadron, US Air Service. Went over to France with 1st Division, 16th Regt in June 1917. Not sure when he transferred to aviation. He trained with the French as part of Escadrille BR 129 in Tours. He flew with the French until 23 August 1918 when he was given command of the 166th Aero Squadron. This photo is from the 1915 Virginia Military School yearbook. I found the yearbook at a local auction. It belonged to a classmate and all the photos were signed by the cadets.
