OZ SE5A and TAVAS
Hi there.
I've posted elsewhere here about our SE5A. Just for info of your members we have a small group in Queensland OZ called TAVAS - The Australian Vintage Aircraft Society. http://www.tavas.com.au TAVAS is a small group of diverse owners who have come together under the leadership of Andrew Carter and we have a small collection of pre 1930 and WW1 replica machines. We hang out in two hangars at Caboolture Airfield, Queensland. It is the only collection of flying WW1 aircraft in Australia. Just for info only, this is our group Flying Aircraft Fokker E III Eindecker Fokker D VIII Fokker DR 1 SE5A Bristol F2 B Pietenpol Air Camper Demoiselle 1909 Under Construction Fokker D.VII Sopwith Camel Sopwith Triplane Hawker Demon Display Only Johnson 1909 Monoplane Whitehead 1901 No. 21 Engines On Hand (either fitted to various aircraft or under refurbishment) 3 x Gnome Rotary Fairchild Ranger 7 x Gypsy Queen 70 Cirrus 4 Rolls Royce V12 Kestrel Best regards Griffo |

Thanks for the list Griffo, it's great to see!
I've seen photos of a Sopwith Pup under construction on TAVAS' Facebook page - is that another member's machine? |
Hi mate. There's a Pup under construction - I think, but can't recall the details - I'll get some info and let you know. Cheers
