I am unable to find the book on Blurb.com. Can you post a link?
Enjoy! Frank. |
Thanks for letting me know. I'll post a link later today. Apparently there is a problem searching a name with an accent mark. It comes up if you search my last name or his first name 'Adolphe'.

Pegoud book
I would like to say that I have, in my hands, this wonderful book. My friend Dereck has produced a wonderful book about this early ace and pre-war aviator who broke so many "boundries" with his courage and audacity!
I recommend the book to everyone. Great work Dereck, congratulations to you!!!! Jim |

Who killed Pegoud
5 Attachment(s)
I'd like to put to rest the argument that has been surrounding who killed Adolphe Pegoud. I am the grandson of Roger Paul Ronserail the pilot that was known as "Le Vengeur de Pegoud" after he shot down Otto Kandulski (The pilot that shot down Pegoud).
There was a post by someone claiming to be Walter Kandulski's grandson, however it should be made clear that Walter Kandulski did not shoot down Pegoud! It was Otto. I have numerous newspaper clippings from all over France that were kept by my grandmother at the time as proof. The only proof offered so far by others here is a marriage certificate for Walter Kandulski dated 1918. However this proves little as Walter didn't kill Pegoud so I have no doubt that Walter lived past 1920 as my grandfather didn't shoot him down it was Otto. Unfortunately Bulldog90's book incorrectly lists Walter as pilot that downed Pegoud. I have asked him for proof but he has declined to supply me with any. I have sent him the newspaper clippings but still he clings on to this belief without providing proof. If anyone would like a copy of all the newspaper clippings feel free to message me. On the other hand if anyone has proof to refute what is written here please likewise message me. I hope this answers some questions and puts this matter to rest. |
I just recieved the book. Seems great.
