A WWI sim for all seasons.

What I love :
- the way the horizon is rendered
- the colour palette used for the fields
- the reflections of the river

what to improve :
- the reflection on the engine cowling (a bit strong IMO)
- the fact that the trees stand out oddly - maybe the colours, maybe how 3D objects are rendered.

We have almost one year to wait, so there's still ample time to tweak this to near perfection. Anyway, it's already on my 'to buy' list.

Yes I agreewith bzhyoyo

Horizon is good, I don't like the trees either they seem to be stuck on as you say. Hopefully it will improve as they go along.

Some work still needed on shapes but, WOW! What atmosphere!

You can almost feel the wind in your face. :)

Great as always. The trees do stand out a bit too sharply though.

Looking quite good. :) Agree the trees need fixing....maybe randomize their placement a bit.

Wow, I've visited the site, and I'm stunned! It's becoming hard to see the distinction between real photos and these shots! (Okay, that may be a little bit exaggerated, but still... !) amazing work...

concerning the trees and the previous comments, I agree.

This looks VERY promising. But there seems one downside to me: "only" 13 planes. I realize it's a lot of work, putting every scale into detail, but I'd rather fly as many of'em as possible! 20? Perhaps I'm wanting too much ^_^

Hopefully these guys will finish their work, cause I'm still depressed by the loss of Knights Over Europe :(

Hi Dave,

i`m following the steps in this sim since about 5 months and i can`t await the release. These pictures promise a lot.....and yes, what great atmosphere !
I hope the gameplay will be also as good as the pictures (i just say red baron)

Hi Guys! :)

Hey, it has been encouraging to see a software team like GT's demonstrating such enthusiasm for their product, and with an openess towards sharing and discussing their progress. Much of this must come from the fact that many of the team's members are also passionate aviation enthusiasts and flight simmers too (and of some International acclaim).

Btw, here's the latest list of aircraft models being designed for Knights Of The Sky, and it's been indicated by the designers that additional player-controlled types may be in the offing if the sim sells well. Of course us fans are also hoping that additional content will be added to expand on the core sim's expected success, thereby allowing the sim's content and coverage to grow over time!

(gotta be thinking long-range here, right) :goggles:

Well, talking more in the present tense :

The game looks stunning, and I can't wait to play it. As long as I get to fly a Zepplin Staaken, then I would be really happy.:D
Also is there going to be an online mode, and if so, how is it going to work out?
