Victor Chapman's Nieuport 11
 

Hello all,
Old Rhinebeck has (or had, I think it was in a crash last year) a replica of Victor Chapman's Nieuport 11. Is anyone aware of any original photos of this aircraft.

Hi Phil. If you're looking for an authentic replica of Chapman's N11 don't refer to the Rhinebeck version. Their was marked with a big black "C" on the side, when in actaulity it was Elliot Cowdin, not Victor Chapman, whose aircraft was marked with a "C". The Rhinebeck N11 was beige, too. My bet is that Chapman's N11 was probably camo.

As for the N16 in which he was killed, go with sky blue.
