Copper State Fokker D V.........

Having added a couple of CSM kits to my pile of late, I was wondering if anyone had any comments to make on this one. The AEG C IV I have is very good, the Halberstadt CLIV is frankly pretty b. awful (as I've noted here before). How does the little Fokker shape up in terms of quality and accuracy?

TIA

I have heard several modelers make good or complimentary comments about the kit. I think some one over on the WWI Modeler's page built one and commented there as well. I have about 10 of the PE sets for this kit I picked up from CSM. They are ok.

Thanks!
I had forgotten about that little detour into the land of resin. 1998? Yikes!
A post script- short time after it was finished, some friends were visiting and their kid goes over and picks it up from the shelf where it was contentedly grazing among the dust particles. He looks it over, then slams it back down, obliterating the landing gear- I don't know where the tail skid and associated support members went. I managed to repair it, and then it sold for nice little lump.

Hey, Robert:
I hate to hear about one of your models getting slammed, after all the work you put into'em...what ever happened to the kid? Tell the folks here in the Aerodrome about one of your uncles years ago that almost caused a slight calamity with one of your sculptures. Thats why my models have such a short self life!

She's been sitting in the garage for the last 15 years and her horse still has a weak ankle and hoof. Next time- more strength in the horse legs.
The kid lived........I'll say that much!

LOL! Reminds me of a fellow modeler who had a small room / den where he built and displayed his aircraft. His wife hired a middle-aged, non-english speaking house keeper that thought his cute little things needed dusting. He came home from a business trip to a pile of little pieces in the middle of his desk...well at least she swept up the things she knocked off... he was upset. :stretcher: I hear the new maid is working out fine. He locked the door top the den.
