Armee Flieger Abteilungen...?
 

Hello all

In Oct 1918 the German Army Air Force created some new "stronger" long recconaissance units when about four or five earlier AOK units were built up to a strength of 15 to 20 aircraft...

At the moment I only knew that FA 3 lb with certainty was changed to an Armee Flieger Abteilung. I also have information (not original) that FA 5 lb was changed in similar way...

Does anyone knew which other German "long recce" units who were changed to this kind of new formations...?

I saw that one source says that all Lichtbild Flieger Abteilungen were changed to Armee Flieger Abteilungen up to Nov 1918. I dont believe this really happened, but it could have been a project for the winter 1918-1919...!?

However, as I mentioned above the German Air Force were probably able to make this changings on Heeresgruppe level...

Is there really no one who have further information about this vital organisation changing within the German Air Force...?
