Members,

Take a look at the images here: http://www.mediatheque-patrimoine.culture....ochromes.html#1

They are a fantastic collection of images from the great war. There are so many images that have not had time to go through them all to see if there are any pictures of aircraft.

There are some color photos of aircraft in Marc Chassard's excellent book, "The Air War of Two Aces" about Dorme and Guiget. These are of a Nieuport 11 or 16 in green and chestnut camouflage, and a Caudron G4. There are also some Australian aviation related photos from the Middle East of Bristol fighters, Martinsyde G.102s, etc. That appeared on the covers of Windsock magazine way back in 1990-92.

Gee I was only a couple of years late on that one! I kind of thought that might be the case but those pictures are just too cool not to try to bring to bring to the attention of the forum.
